AJ SIMONSEN (Ambassador)
Ex Banker Boy turned Cycle Guy, AJ spent many years skiing, snowboarding and cycling before “getting a real job”. After 17 years working in London’s financial institutions, he’s returned to outdoor sports, his passion for road cycling and Mallorca.
CHRISTIAN HUSUM (Mechanic Palma)
Christian is from Denmark, arrived to Mallorca in the beginning of 2017 and has since the summer become part of the Bikecamp team. He is a qualified mechanic who works in this field professionally since 6 years, and his job is to keep our bikes in the perfect condition.
CHARLIE SMITH (Mechanic Pollença)
Charlie is the mechanic in our new Port de Pollença station. A cyclist for all his life, Charlie rode at a national level in the youth ranks in his native UK, going through the system at British Cycling including Regional and National Schools of Racing. After qualifying as a mechanic, he becomes the newest member of the Bikecamp team.
CARLOS SASTRE (Ambassador)
Carlos Sastre Candil is a former Spanish professional road bicycle racer and winner of the 2008 Tour de France. He consistently achieved great results in the Vuelta de España and equally good showings in the Tour de France. Sastre established himself as a strong and stable climbing specialist, and after working to improve his individual time trial skills, he became a contender for the top GC spots in the Grand Tours. In total, Sastre finished in the top ten overall of fifteen Grand Tours during his career.
